It was great to see so many people out and about in the village enjoying the Scarecrow Trail!
Congratulations to the winners, who were drawn at random from entries with the correct answers.
Thank you to all the makers of scarecrows - some excellent and intriguing examples this year. Also, thanks to all those who hosted them (scarecrows were not always outside the maker's house). Many thanks to all the families who helped with trail sheet and refreshment sales outside the Village Hall and The School and to the proprietors of the The Plough, Harrow and Brewer's Arms pubs for selling sheets.
