Sat 24 April - Sun 9 May 2010The winners were as follows: 1st prize of £100 M&S vouchers: The Raymond Family 2nd prize of £50 WH Smith vouchers: Karen Hawkins 3rd prize of £25 Wanborough Herb Nursery vouchers: The Border Family The best scarecrow, as voted for by those attending the trail, was No. 50: Bridge over Troubled Water by Sue & Martin Ripley. They win the £50 Hobbycraft vouchers. 570 trail sheets were sold 22 correct entries went into the draw: The trail raised: £1830 The raffle raised: £194 Thank you to the sponsors of the trail for the prizes as follows: 1st prize: Nationwide Property Lettings 2nd prize: Barrett Accounting Services 3rd prize: Wanborough Herb Nursery Best Scarecrow prize: Bevirs Solicitors We’re hoping the May Day Fayre raised £3,700 but costs are still being finalised. But it looks like overall between the Scarecrow Trail, the Raffle and the May Day Fayre we raised in excess of £5,700.
