The Wanborough May Day Fayre is a traditional fayre for all the family to enjoy. Entry is free and most stalls cost only 30-50p a go. In addition to children's stalls we have a BBQ, Beer & Refreshment Tent, May Pole dancing, Local crafters stalls, Teas & Cakes, Books/Puzzles Break a Plate and Wang the Welly activities.
Classic cars are welcome to attend . Access via Chapel Lane, off Wanborough High Street.
Donations for the raffle, book & puzzle stall and chipped / old china for the Break a Plate stall can be dropped off at Wanborough Village Hall on Sunday 3rd May, 2-4pm. Thank you, in advance for any donations.
Parking for the May Day Fayre is an issue if the weather is (has been) wet because our overflow carparks are in fields! If weather is dry the Hooper's Field pitch will be open; if the weather is wet please park around the Beanlands / Magdalen Road estate which can be accessed from Kite Hill. Please do not park on roads that are traffic coned - we need to ensure that emergency vehicles can gain access around the village. Please follow car park signage, drive carefully through the village and park with consideration. Thank you.
A raffle will be run during the Scarecrow Trail and May Day Fayre, thank you to the following companies for kind donations of prizes:
